Algebraix Blockchain Project & Cryptocurrency
Algebraix optimization technology, which has been proven in relational and graphical data contexts with databases, has also proven effective with open source products, Spark and Hadoop, in Big Data environments, accelerating BI and Analytics applications. In fact, Data Algebra, has application in blockchain applications not just for query acceleration but also for file management. Consequently, it will play a major role in Algebraix Data’s blockchain project
This project will establishing a wholly new and innovative advertising market that, for the first time, will enable individuals to monetize their personal data. The ALX token will be the currency of the blockchain network that is being built. Aside from providing a Personal Secure Vault (PSV), where people can safely store their data, and managing the advertising market that will interact with that data, a major goal of The Algebraix Blockchain Project is to also establish an ecosystem of applications to serve PSV owners, both through direct development by independent software developers and by partnering with other blockchain software providers.
To this end we will develop an Inter-Blockchain Communication Fabric (ICBF) to enable interactivity between different blockchains. Data Algerba will be particularly useful in this effort as it will provide the foundation for the distributed data directories and catalogs that will be required by the IBCF.

Alegraix Data’s blockchain project will be conducted on an Open Source basis. As the project progresses, the source code that relates to the application of Data Algebra, will be shared publicly under an open source license. The company will establishing a Data Algebra University, which will run courses to educate the software world in the use of Data Algebra as well as govern the development and distribution of Data Algebra-related open source products.
